If I opt for a PPA, what happens if the solar PV system breaks down or develops a fault?
Our remote monitoring equipment will alert us to a fault immediately and it is our responsibility to resolve the problem through our long-term operations and maintenance contract. To minimise the risk of any such issues, we only specify and install high quality equipment supported by long term warranties and guarantees.
What is Battery Solar Storage?
Battery solar storage systems include a battery that can be charged with the electricity or excess electricity that is generated by your solar panels. You are also able to charge the battery directly from the grid, and you can take advantage of cheaper off-peak rates in the winter or darker days, where your solar panels are not running as efficiently as possible, or electricity generation is limited.
Solar battery storage is recommended when you are installing or upgrading a solar panel PV system. Some systems come equipped with Emergency Power Supply (EPS) capabilities, in which your solar battery will power your business in the case of a power cut. Solar batteries can also be retroactively installed in existing solar PV systems if they do not currently feature a battery system.
