Clean energy awards 2020

Solarsense short-listed for two national awards

Solarsense has been shortlisted for commercial and residential project of the year at the Solar & Storage Live Awards 2020. The award winners are due to be announced during a virtual event due to take place between the 2nd and 4th of December.

The Solar and Storage Live Awards celebrate the best in clean energy, recognising good practice, quality workmanship, innovation and expertise in the field. The judges were particularly interested in customer feedback and client testimonials – another testament to the quality of work carried out by Solarsense.

Commercial Project of the Year

The project nominated for commercial solar & storage project of the year is Pilton Methodist Church. Integrating solar roof slates, conventional on-roof solar PV and a 3phase Tesla Powerwall (Gateway 2), the project is the first church system in the UK to completely match traditional slates with solar tiles.

Residential Project of the Year

The project nominated for residential solar & storage project of the year is the Helios House Eco Homes. Converting unused warehouse space, the homes were designed to blend with the surrounding rural setting, neighbouring buildings and the adjacent Zero Carbon Hub, Solarsense Head Office. Fully integrated solar, energy storage and heat pump technologies were combined to create a low carbon home that provides the occupants with a lower cost, eco-friendly lifestyle.
