Solarsense install 10kWp solar PV system for UNITE Students

UNITE Students

UNITE Students commissioned Solarsense to install a 10kWp solar PV system in order offset the halls of residence utility bills.

The solar array generates free, clean electricity to power the student accomodation and generates a modest income via the government feed in tariff.

As well as significantly reducing their overheads and reliance on the national grid it also reduces the organisations carbon emissions by 5.5 tonnes per year – the equivalent of filling 33 double decker busses.

System Details

Client: UNITE Students

Sector: Schools & Education / Property

System Size: 9.98 kWp

Estimated Annual Output: 9,235 kWh

Annual CO2 Emissions Offset: 5.5 tonnes
