Solarsense are now firmly heading down the electric road following the recent acquisition of two Vauxhall Ampera plug-in hybrids and one Renault Kangoo all electric van. Charging the vehicles from our on-site solar car-port provides us with carbon free motoring and thousands of pounds cash saving on our fleet fuel bill. Even if we were to charge them directly from the mains the cost per mile would be between a quarter and a half that of petrol vehicles. The Amperas have a range of up to 50miles on a full charge and the Kangoo van 70miles making them ideal for customer visits and local projects.
