Solarsense staff have raised an estimated £700 by running in the Bristol Half Marathon

On the morning of Sunday 6th September, five staff from Solarsense completed the half-marathon around Bristol. Now nursing a variety of injuries, staff are satisifed at having completed the challenge, and are thrilled to have raised an estimated £700 for the project to install solar panels at an orphanage in Tamil Nadu in India.

Along with St Phillip and St James Church in Bath, staff from Solarsense will travel to India in spring 2010 to assist with the construction effort, install the solar PV/HW systems and give training in solar installation to local craftsmen.

More fundraising events are scheduled to be held before the departure.
