Government launches domestic chargepoint grant

Homeowners with off-street parking can now receive a grant to help towards the upfront cost of a dedicated electric vehicle recharging unit.

Under the scheme homeowners will receive up to 75% off the total cost of the chargepoint and installation (capped at £1,000, including VAT) as long as you install using an accredited installer.

Solarsense are currently being added to the accredited installer list and should be ready to install from late May. As designers of one of the first solar carports in the South West, and a company that uses electric cars and vans everyday, we are well place to advise on the realities of using electric vehicles for work and leisure.

If you are interested in making the switch to an electric vehilcle call us to discuss the options, or come along to our next Open Day.
