The Carbon Trust is offering up to £5,000 to small and medium sized businesses or community buildings which could benefit from financial support when buying and installing renewable energy systems.

The Carbon Trust Green Business Fund is the energy efficiency support service for small and medium-sized companies in England, Wales and Scotland.

The Green Business Fund was launched in April 2016. To date, it has disbursed over £200 million of interest free loans to UK small and medium businesses to help them finance energy efficient equipment.

To date the fund has helped organisations introduce £1.6bn worth of energy efficient equipment into their businesses, resulting in a £5.5bn reduction in energy costs, playing a significant part in much needed carbon emission reduction.
