Solarsense Charity Support 2019 | Elsamere Centre for Education in Sustainability

Elsamere Centre for Education in Sustainability, Naivasha, Kenya

It is now more than 50 years since the release of the film Born Free, which was inspired by Joy Adamson’s book of the same name.

From the royalties of the book and film Joy Adamson set up the Elsa Wild Animal Appeal to fund conservation in East Africa and around the world. Part of this legacy is the Elsamere Centre for Education in Sustainability.

More than 15,000 students and teachers pass through the Centre each year, it provides a unique learning environment and experiences that stay with the students for life.

Our support

Solarsense are providing solar panels with a view to sending a team to Kenya to help install them. This will reduce running costs and act as an example for students and teachers to take back to schools in east Africa.

With your help we would also like to provide further solar education packs, solar toys, solar lights and solar chargers.

All donations will be very gratefully received and can be made either by cheque payable to Solarsense UK Limited or by BACS, Sort Code 30-62-96, Account No. 79860468.

Thank you for your support, we wish you a merry Christmas and a bright and sunny New Year.

Other charity support

Solarsense will also be supporting Children’s Hospice South West in 2019.
