The Government’s consultant document has stated the original 20 year amounts will be set over just 7 years which means far higher payments than first thought, aprox £394 a year for the average solar thermal system and arox £1400-2000 for the average heatpump or biomass installation.

The other good news is they are proposing to include air heat pump as well, and off-gas homes will get higher amounts but on-gas homes will still get a payment.

Start date summer 2013, with payments backdated to summer 2009.

Install Before April and receive the RHPP grants too.
