Stephen Barrett and Solarsense short-listed for two European Green Capital Awards

Solarsense and Managing Director Stephen Barrett have been short-listed for two awards at the Bristol 2015: European Green Capital Awards.

The awards aim to recognise the businesses, organisations and people who have made an outstanding contribution in helping make Bristol the European Green Capital for 2015.

Stephen Barrett, Managing Director of Solarsense has been short-listed in the “Green Leader” category which looks at individuals who have made a significant contribution to the tackling of climate change and the environment in Bristol. Stephen has been an ambassador for sustainability and renewable energy for more than 20 years and has played a key role in the uptake of renewable technology both in the South-West and UK as a whole.

Solarsense have also been acknowledged for their outstanding credentials and short-listed in the “Green Organisation” category. The company has picked up no less than four awards already this year including UK Installer of the Year at the Solar Power Portal Awards.
